It has come about as an economical environ—friendly substitution for red clay bricks for constructing edifies because of its exceptional qualities of high load bearing capacity and lightweight mass

Go to accoustic insulation

accoustic insulation

AAC Blocks are unique and first-rate in the genre of building materials because they offer definitive workability, durability and suppleness along with sound insulation properties

Go to Fire resistant

Fire resistant

AAC blocks are incredibly operative against fire and fall within the stringent requirements of fire safety as they can endure fire up to 1200°C. The factional air pockets add to a thermal diffusion that is 60% of that of the clay brick.

Go to Energy efficacy

Energy efficacy

AAC blocks are forerunners when it comes to thermal ratings and are LEED certified construction blocks. Carbon dioxide emission can be lessened up to 200mn tones with the usage of AAC blocks thus rendering a saving of almost $20 Billion each year.

Company Profile

Venturing into the forte of building blocks and setting up a business enterprise started way back in 1993, when Sri G. Ramaiah founded Maxlite . The company was expanded exponentially with Sri R. Darshan coming on board. The eager entrepreneurs initiated with the manufacturing of Red Clay Bricks and forayed into several genres of construction materials. Manufacturing of red clay bricks led to depletion of the fertile top layer of the soil and in the process causing harm to the environment. To triumph over this impairment Sri G Ramaiah and Sri R. Darshan researched and came up with the innovative idea of using Fly ash, an industrial pollutant in a constructive way to manufacture AAC blocks. Together the father and son duo worked wonders by bringing in the fabrication of the environment friendly AAC blocks that led to a greener revolution in the construction world. The use of Fly ash in AAC blocks initiated a carbon negative progression, resulting in acquiring Carbon Credit points to the company. The Maxlite plant, a pioneering setup in developing AAC blocks situated in Bangalore, Karnataka renders support to numerous construction projects of various magnitudes with its production capacity of 500cum per day.
What are AAC Blocks?

AAC is the acronym for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete. They are formed from common resources like sand, lime, cement and water, along with a slight expanse of rising agent. The characteristics of great load-support, light in weight, high on insulation, make them a strong component in building merchandise which is manufactured in various sizes and strengths. The Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) material was developed in 1923 by Johan Axel Eriksson a Swedish inventor and has since become an extensively used building material the world
